Support for my brother and family after tragedy

It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of Arra Jaugan Huard, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Arra passed away shortly after giving birth to her and Leigh’s beautiful new baby girl, Martina, due to unexpected complications during childbirth.

Arra and Leigh (affectionately known as “Bish” to friends far and wide) were just shy of celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this September. Together, they had already built a loving life and are parents to their 11-year-old daughter, Lira, who now faces a life without her mother by her side.

The family had recently made the move back to Arra’s home country of the Philippines in anticipation of Martina’s birth, hopeful for a new chapter together. Sadly, that chapter was forever changed when Arra’s health took a turn during delivery, and she passed shortly after.

This fundraiser is being organized to support:

Funeral and memorial expenses currently being arranged by Arra’s family and Leigh

Newborn care for Martina in the crucial months ahead

Living costs for the family as Leigh navigates life as a grieving father of two, while also managing uncertain work responsibilities

Arra was a radiant soul — selfless, giving, and fiercely devoted to her family. She gave everything to those she loved, always putting others before herself. Her passing leaves a hole in so many lives.
