Hi, my name is Leilanni, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family.
My aunt is currently in the hospital, courageously battling cancer. Sadly, we’ve been told she is nearing her final days. Her diagnosis came late; by the time she learned she had cancer, it was already stage four, and within days it had spread throughout her body.
My aunt is so much more than her illness. She is a wife, a mother of four, a sister, an aunt, and above all, an incredible woman. She has always been the heart of our family, welcoming everyone into her home, making sure no one ever left hungry, and spreading joy and laughter wherever she went. To many of us, she was like a second mom, always giving, always caring, always loving. Her cheerful soul and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Despite her fierce fight, my aunt has chosen to stop treatments so that she may go peacefully and naturally, surrounded by love. We respect her strength, her courage, and her wishes.
As a family, we are struggling. We come from humble means, and while her husband and children work tirelessly every day, the weight of hospital bills and impending funeral costs is far beyond what they can carry alone.
In this painful and desperate time, we are asking family, friends, and even kind-hearted strangers to help us. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward easing the financial burden of medical and funeral expenses.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, your prayers, and your kindness.
With love and gratitude,
The Niño Family
