Ms. Sherry is loved by so many of our island families. She has inspired our children to love the outdoors, care for animals, and find joy in every little critter they discover. Families who meet her quickly fall in love with her warmth and kindness, and she has a way of caring for our children as if they were her own.

On August 20, Ms. Sherry’s mother, Stevie Clifford, passed away after her courageous battle with cancer. Sherry and her sister lovingly cared for her through home hospice until her final moments. Stevie shared the same deep love of nature that Sherry now passes on to our children. She raised her children exploring the outdoors by hiking, swimming, and caring for their animals together. The love of the natural world is her legacy, living on in Ms. Sherry and in the children she teaches.

We want to support Ms. Sherry the way she has always been there for us. Funds raised will help with the financial costs of her mother’s care and allow the family to create a meaningful memorial in her honor. Stevie wished for no public service, but asked that her children take her ashes to the Gulf near the Keys, a place that reflected her love for the sea and its beauty.
