Our family is asking for prayers, support, and help during one of the most devastating moments we have ever faced. Our beloved mother is currently fighting for her life in the ICU after a horrific act of domestic violence. She was shot in the head and shoulder by her husband, while all six of her kids and grandchildren were in the house. The husband then came downstairs, looked us in the eyes, and yelled, 'Now your mother is dead.' As he walked out of the house, my siblings and I rushed to apply pressure to her wounds until the paramedics arrived. He walked three doors down and tragically took his own life. Channel 2 news showed up on March 4 to report the incident. We can’t sleep in the house anymore and have no resources for a better living situation. Our mom paid all the bills.

Right now, doctors are working tirelessly to save her life while our family stands by her side, hoping and praying for a miracle. She is not only a survivor — she is a loving mother to six beautiful children who now face an uncertain future while their mother battles for her life. This tragedy has left our entire family heartbroken and trying to come together to support the children during this unimaginable time.

We are raising funds to help with critical medical expenses as she fights to recover, immediate care and daily needs for her six children, counseling and emotional support for the children, and housing, food, and stability while our family navigates this crisis.
