Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser for my mom, who recently experienced a heartbreaking setback. A drunk driver crashed through her storefront, forcing the city to shut it down due to structural damage. This shop is not only her main source of income, it’s also been a place where she’s poured her heart into serving the community.

Over the years, my mom has donated new clothes to students in need, shared toys during the holidays, and quietly helped families through local mutual aid groups. She’s always been someone who gives without asking for anything in return.

Now, she’s navigating a very uncertain path. The damage has disrupted everything - she can’t access her inventory, some equipment was destroyed, and items she planned to sell at upcoming events were ruined. She’s still waiting to hear from the property owner and insurance, and doesn’t yet know when - or how - she’ll be able to reopen.

This fundraiser is simply a way to show her she’s not alone. Anything contributed will go toward helping her stay afloat while she figures out next steps, and giving her some breathing room as she works through the emotional and financial strain this situation has caused.
