Support for Mom's Battle with Cholangiocarcinoma

Last month in April, my mother's health started to decline very quickly for seemingly no reason. After a month of hospital visits and unanswered questions, she was officially diagnosed with stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma, which is cancer of the bile ducts. It is a rare and aggressive type of cancer that is hard to catch until it is too late, and unfortunately it has taken over her entire liver, part of her lungs, and lymph nodes. Watching mom go from being a fully functioning person to an incapacitated one within the short span of a couple of months has been extremely painful to witness and we are now preparing for the worst. We have been told that she has a short window of time even with treatment. However, she has decided to go balls to the wall with chemotherapy just for a chance to live a little longer. My mom carried much of the household and has not been able to return to work and most likely never will. She is unfortunately too young to retire and does not have any income coming in at the moment which leaves my dad, sister, and my 3 nephews in a bind as they share the household. We are doing our best to try and get her disability benefits, etc but those things will take time we don't really have and we are now scrambling to find all of the necessary financial assistance to keep the household running and get her the treatment she needs.
