Hi, my name is Ethan Fischer and I am 22 years old. My family has lived in the Lake Country area for over 20 years.

My mom, Mollie Fischer, started working at Arrowhead High School in 2010, first as a lunch lady and later in custodial services. In August of this year, she was diagnosed with a glioblastoma— a fast-growing brain tumor with a terminal prognosis and an estimated life expectancy of about 15 months. She loved her job, but due to her diagnosis and treatment, she is no longer able to work.

My mom has been a loving wife to my dad, Dale, for the past 25 years, and an incredible mother to my twin sister, Morgan, and me for the past 22 years. Throughout our lives, my mom has given my sister and me more than we could ever repay her for. Right now, we are doing everything we can to bring her comfort and ease as she navigates this illness.

I am asking for your help because with her medical bills and her inability to work, our family is becoming overwhelmed by medical debt. We want to focus our time and energy on being with her and making the most of the time we have left. I currently work as a plumber full-time and am also trying to take on any side work possible to help our family stay above water.

My family would be beyond grateful for any support you are able to give during this difficult time.
