<div>My mom, Mollie Fischer, started working at Arrowhead High School in 2010, first as a lunch lady and later in custodial services. In August of this year, she was diagnosed with a glioblastoma— a fast-growing brain tumor with a terminal prognosis and an estimated life expectancy of about 15 months. She loved her job, but due to her diagnosis and treatment, she is no longer able to work.

<div>My mom has been a loving wife to my dad, Dale, for the past 25 years, and an incredible mother to my twin sister, Morgan, and me for the past 22 years. Throughout our lives, my mom has given my sister and me more than we could ever repay her for. Right now, we are doing everything we can to bring her comfort and ease as she navigates this illness.
