Deja a su amada esposa y a sus tres hermosas hijas. Les pedimos de todo corazón que nos ayuden a apoyar a su familia en este momento tan difícil y, sobre todo, que los mantengan en sus oraciones para que Dios les dé fuerza, consuelo y paz. Que Dios los cubra con Su amor.

12/2/25 It breaks our hearts to share that our dear friend Miguel has been moved to hospice care. After fighting with incredible strength for so long, his condition has worsened, and his family is now facing the painful reality that time is limited. We are all holding onto each other as we navigate this difficult moment, trying to surround him with as much love and comfort as possible.

As we stay close to his family, we’ve seen firsthand the emotional and financial strain they’re carrying. Miguel’s wife, Sandi, has been by his side every step of the way, taking care of him while also trying to keep life stable for their three daughters. No one should have to worry about bills, household needs, or the future while preparing to say goodbye to the person they love most. Any amount—no matter how small—makes a difference. Todos nos estamos apoyando mutuamente mientras atravesamos este momento tan difícil, tratando de rodearlo con todo el amor y la comodidad posible.

Al mantenernos cerca de su familia, hemos visto de primera mano la carga emocional y financiera que están enfrentando. La esposa de Migue, Sandi, ha estado a su lado en cada paso, cuidándolo mientras también trata de mantener la estabilidad para sus tres hijas. Nadie debería tener que preocuparse por las cuentas, las necesidades del hogar o el futuro mientras se prepara para despedirse de la persona que más ama.

11/14/25 from Sandi: I’ve been avoiding this post for the last few days, I just can’t seem to find the right words to express our thoughts. I think we haven’t fully come to terms with what we’re experiencing. But I do feel this platform is the quickest and easiest way to communicate with all our loved ones that have been on this incredibly difficult journey with us.

As you all know Miguel has osteosarcoma, this all started on October of last year. Since then Miguel has been fighting this terrible cancer with so much courage and strength. We’ve done everything that’s been suggested by doctors, but nothing has worked. Miguel has been through chemo, surgery, and radiation.

October 7th, just last month Miguel went through a 20 hour surgery to remove his right leg due to the location of the tumor. The tumor was located on his lower spine and sacrum. It was all removed. Since then Miguel has had so many complications, impeding us from going home. He’s had 4 additional surgeries while being here. He’s also been septic twice causing him to be rushed into ICU. He’s fought so hard but his body has not responded well. Cancer has then metastasized. It’s spread all over his body. Because his body is so weak, and bc of other complications Miguel is no longer able to take chemotherapy. Radiation is also off the table. His doctors have all encouraged us to start the transition into hospice.

He’s very high risk for infection so we don’t know how time is looking like after making the transition in hospice that most likely is happening mid next week. We’ve been encouraged to let our loved ones know. If you would like to visit Miguel please reach out to me thank you for all the support you’ve all given us and continue to give us. He estado evitando escribir esta publicación durante los últimos días, ya que no consigo encontrar las palabras adecuadas para expresar lo que sentimos. Creo que aún no hemos asimilado del todo lo que estamos viviendo. Sin embargo, considero que esta plataforma es la forma más rápida y sencilla de comunicarnos con todos nuestros seres queridos que nos han acompañado en este viaje tan increíblemente difícil.

Como todos saben, Miguel tiene osteosarcoma, todo esto comenzó en octubre del año pasado. Desde entonces, Miguel ha estado luchando contra este terrible cáncer con mucha fuerza. Hemos hecho todo lo que nos han sugerido los médicos, pero nada ha funcionado. Migue ha pasado por quimioterapia, cirugía y radiación .

El 7 de octubre, el mes pasado, Migue se sometió a una cirugía de 20 horas para amputarle la pierna derecha debido a la ubicación del tumor. El tumor estaba localizado en la parte inferior de la columna vertebral y el sacro. Desde entonces, Miguel ha tenido muchas complicaciones impidiéndonos de irnos a casa. Llevamos más del mes en el hospital. Se ha sometido a cuatro cirugías adicionales mientras ha estado aquí hospitalizado. También ha tenido sepsis dos veces, lo que ha provocado que lo ingresaran de urgencia a cuidados intensivos . Ha luchado con todas sus fuerzas, pero su cuerpo no ha respondido bien. El cáncer ha hecho metástasis. Se ha extendido por todo su cuerpo. Debido a que su cuerpo está muy débil y a otras complicaciones, Miguel ya no puede recibir quimioterapia. La radiación tampoco es una opción. Todos sus médicos nos han sugerido iniciar la transición al hospicio.

Tiene un riesgo muy alto de infección, por lo que no sabemos cuánto tiempo le queda después de hacer la transición al hospicio. Lo más probable es que empecemos la transición la semana que entra.

Nos han sugerido a que se lo comuniquemos a nuestros seres queridos. Si desean visitar a Migue, pónganse en contacto conmigo. Gracias por todo el apoyo que nos han brindado y siguen brindándonos.
