On December 25, 2025, our dear friend and beloved teacher, Maureen Aryee, and her wonderful children—son Ninis and daughter Yeala— sadly lost their devoted husband and father, Peter “Sam Tuga” Twumasi, following an unexpected illness.

We are a group of friends, colleagues, and families in our school community who have come together to organize this campaign in support of Maureen and her family as they honor and celebrate Sam’s beautiful life. Sam was a loving husband, dedicated father, and dependable friend who meant so much to everyone who knew him. He had a kind heart and a warm presence that will never be forgotten. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who loved him.

Maureen has always been a caring, compassionate and devoted teacher who treats our families as her own. During this incredibly difficult time, we want to show her and her children just how much they mean to us and how deeply we appreciate the love, care, and dedication Maureen has given to our community over the years.

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover Sam’s funeral arrangements and to provide financial support for the family. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help and be greatly appreciated.
