On the morning of January 8th, our brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Sophie, experienced an unimaginable loss when their beloved home was completely lost due to the wildfires in Altadena, CA. This was the home they worked tirelessly to create, a place where they envisioned raising their family, as they eagerly await the arrival of their baby girl, due in May.

All their hard work, cherished belongings, and plans for the future were lost in an instant. Thankfully, Matt and Sophie are safe, but they now face the overwhelming challenge of starting over—replacing everything they’ve lost, making tough decisions, and reimagining the future they had planned.

Anyone who knows Matt and Sophie knows they are two of the most genuinely thoughtful and kind people. We hope our collective support will bring them hope and joy as they navigate this challenging and heartbreaking time.
