Hi, My name is Martin "Marty" Garcia. I am 62 years old. On 6/2/23 I suffered a massive heart attack at work. I was taken to the hospital and stabilized. After several unsuccessful attemps to unblock some arteries around my heart, I was told by the cardiologist that I was not a good candidate for open heart surgery. After 17 days in the hospital, I was given the news that I would no longer be able to go back to work or do any physical activities. I have worked in the chemical & refinery plants for the last 23 years. That line of work was my liveihood. Due to my physical condition, I will no longer be able to meet my finacial obligations (i.e. Rent, Ultilities, food & vehicle payments). I have applied for public housing, public assistance, & disability. Disability is going to take months before it goes into effect. I am facing eviction from the home I rent. Please, I am asking for any kind of help to get me through this extreme hardship I am facing. I am truely helpless with my dire physical condition. I do not know how else to ask for help.
