Hi, my name is Vicky, and I am creating this GoFundMe to help my mom and my brother after they lost their home in a devastating fire on December 13, 2025.

The fire completely destroyed their home, and with it, everything they owned. We are trying to raise funds to help them recover and start over — to buy new beds, furniture, basic household items, and essential appliances that were lost in the fire. Most importantly, we are trying to help them find a new apartment where they can feel safe and begin rebuilding their lives.

My mom is a low-income single parent raising my 18-year-old brother, Jonathan, who is autistic. Situations like this are extremely difficult for someone with disabilities to understand. Jonathan does not fully comprehend why this happened, which has made this experience even more emotionally overwhelming for my mom. All she can tell him right now is that we will try to find a new place to live.
