Welcome to Manitoba Buddhist Vihara (MBVCA), a sanctuary of peace and compassion nestled in the heart of our community. For years, our temple has been a guiding light and the support platform for those seeking compassion, wisdom, and spiritual growth, mental and social wellbeing with the guidance of our experienced resident Sangha.

Here are the goals behind this fundraising event. We need your support to make it happen

• Welfare of the Sangha: The Sangha devote their lives to practice Buddhist teachings, embodying the noble qualities of wisdom, compassion and mindfulness. They selflessly transfer their knowledge, values and experience to foster the spiritual well-being of lay people of all ages. The Sangha require opportunities for renewal and rejuvenation on their spiritual journey which will require travelling to tranquil places, visiting monasteries to attend retreats and to meet the members of the Sangha community, attending education programs, travelling to spiritual conferences etc. You will gain high order of merits by funding these activities for the welfare of the Sangha.

• Temple Facility Repairs: MBVCA has identified the following facility repairs for the benefit of the Sangha, to improve the quality of services and the facility.

o Re-establishment of the outdoor Buddha Statue

o Repairs of the Pagoda to establish its structural integrity and appearance.

o Repairs of the temple Sunroom for the Sangha and community use.

To realize these meritorious goals, we're seeking to raise $20,000 through this fundraising campaign. ensuring that Manitoba Buddhist Vihara remains the pillar of wisdom and compassion for nurturing generations to come in Manitoba.
