Our hardworking, kind, loving son-in-law Anderson was taken by ICE on Jan. 22. An immigrant who was seeking asylum and doing all the right things in his case, Anderson went to a rescheduled immigration appointment and was arrested. He's being treated like a criminal, is being held in a detention facility and given no real option except to self-deport. They are bullying people into this decision with no real due process.

To say we are heartbroken for our family is an understatement. We have loved Anderson since he brought me flowers and asked our permission to date Madison. We have gotten to know his family who immigrated here as well and we adore them just as much.

You won't meet someone more hardworking than Anderson. He often works 7 days a week to provide for his family and make sure that Madison has been able to stay home with Sebastian. The way he cares for his family is beyond admirable, and just one of the many things we respect so much about him.

It is heart wrenching to see my daughter's family be ripped apart. She's having to make impossible decisions in the wake of this horrific tragedy. I continue to be amazed by her strength and faith as she walks through this unspeakable horror.

Anderson is the sole provider for their family, and expenses are rapidly growing as Madison tries to support Anderson, pick up the pieces of their lives, and take care of Sebastian.

Madison and Anderson are so hardworking and would never ask for help, which is why I created this GoFundMe. We previously have received donations on other platforms. We have received so many that my Cashapp has blocked any other payments right now, and we've had several ask if we could create a GoFundMe to receive larger donations.

A Little Rock immigration attorney shared with me that ICE has a quota of arresting 3,000 immigrants PER DAY and are doing everything they possibly can to reach these quotas. They aren't looking for criminals - they are hunting down innocent people. If this infuriates you as much as it does me, please share this and help us share their story so that others in our country understand what is happening. People who are following US policies and laws regarding immigration are being unfairly arrested and deported.
