Last night my 18-year-old daughter was in a terrible car accident that completely totaled her car. By a miracle, she survive, But while I am so grateful for her safety, the reality of what comes next has been overwhelming for her.

This car wasn’t just any car—it was something she worked so hard for. She saved every dollar she could to put in for it, and I helped her cover the rest. It was her first big accomplishment, and something she was so proud of. In just seconds, it was all gone.

To make matters even harder, she only had liability insurance, and the driver who hit her didn’t have insurance at all. That means she is left with nothing—no car, no help, and no way to replace what she lost. For an 18-year-old just starting out, it feels like the world has been pulled out from under her.

I am a single mom and, truthfully, I struggle financially just to keep us afloat. I don’t have the means to replace the car for her, even though I wish more than anything that I could. That’s why I’m turning here and asking for help. Anything at all will help—no amount is too small. Every dollar brings her closer to getting back on the road, and to work so she can continue building her future.
