Support for Mackenzie Strickland and Her Children

Hello all. As many of you may know, this past Sunday, on April 27th, 2025, a tragedy struck the Strickland family. Mackenzie’s husband, Matthew, selflessly risked—and ultimately gave—his life to save a young girl in distress. During this time, the family has been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support that our small-town community has shown them.

Matthew was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a hero in every sense of the word. His bravery and sacrifice speak volumes about the kind of man he was—always putting others before himself. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of Mackenzie and their children, who are now facing the road ahead without their husband, father, and provider.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden that comes in the wake of such a devastating event. All donations will go directly to Mackenzie and her family to assist with daily expenses, household needs, and to support the children as they adjust to life without their father.
