Support for Machela and Her Children After a Tragic Loss

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Machela, and her three children, who are going through an unimaginable tragedy. The father of her children was recently murdered, and while grieving such a devastating loss, Machela is now facing unexpected financial burdens that are overwhelming.

She has had to use the money she had been saving to move her family into a safer, more stable apartment to instead help cover the costs of his memorial and supporting her kids on her own. This has put her in a difficult position—trying to do what’s right by honoring his life, while also trying to protect and provide for her children’s future.

Machela is a hardworking mother with a job, and she had planned to take on a side job to make ends meet. But in the wake of this trauma, her children need her more than ever. The emotional impact of losing their father has shaken their world, and her presence and support are crucial for their mental and emotional healing right now.
