Support Lush Greens Community Farm
Donation protected
Hello!
We're running the Bristol half marathon to raise money for Lush Greens, a wonderful community farm in Hengrove, South Bristol. Lush Greens play an important role in tackling food insecurity, supporting local people, and improving the health of both the community and the environment.
Lush Greens grow fresh, nutritious food with and for the local community, helping to ensure that everyone can access healthy produce, regardless of their circumstances. They grow and deliver fresh vegetables to local charities, such as food banks, and run a pay-what-you-can-afford veg box scheme.
By supporting our run, you're helping Lush Greens continue and expand their essential work in Bristol. Your donations will directly fund their work to provide fresh, affordable food to those who need it most and to build a greener, healthier, and more connected community.
Why Lush Greens?
- Tackling food insecurity: they deliver fresh produce to food banks, food clubs, and local charities.
- Pay-what-you-can veg boxes: they make fresh, locally grown food more affordable and accessible.
- Building a healthier community: they give people opportunities to access green spaces, build community, and improve health and wellbeing.
- Caring for the environment: they use nature and climate friendly practices to grow their food, supporting the local environment and biodiversity.
Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. We would be incredibly grateful if you can donate or share - thank you so much for reading this and for your generosity.
Many thanks,
Faith, Freddie, and Henry
