On Friday, 2/20 my dear friend Lucy and her family’s lives were turned upside down when a sudden fire tore through their apartment, destroying nearly everything they owned. In a matter of minutes, their home — the place where they felt safe and built countless memories — was gone.

Unfortunately their 3 fur babies did not make it . They have lost furniture, clothing, personal belongings, important documents, and the everyday essentials we often take for granted.

Right now, they are facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from scratch. The funds raised will go toward:

• Temporary housing and deposits

• Clothing and basic necessities

• Replacing essential household items

• Food and supplies for their dogs

• Unexpected expenses related to recovery

This has been an emotional and financial hardship, but with the support of friends, family, and the community, they can begin to rebuild.
