Hello, my name is Mandy, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my 15-year-old daughter, Lucy, who is currently 24 weeks pregnant. This journey has been filled with unexpected challenges from the very beginning. While this isn’t the path I imagined for Lucy at her age, I believe every child is a blessing, and I am so proud of her strength and courage to face this responsibility. We are pro-choice and support her decision, and now we are doing everything we can to support her and her baby, Isla Grace.
Lucy’s pregnancy has been complicated due to a rare condition—she has two uteruses. Early on, she was pregnant in both, but sadly, she miscarried one fetus. The remaining baby, Isla, has continued to grow strong, but recently, Lucy’s amniotic fluid has been decreasing, and doctors are still searching for answers. On January 10, 2026, we rushed to the ER with bleeding and cramping. Lucy was admitted immediately and started on magnesium and steroids. The doctors have told us she will need to stay in the hospital until either the baby is in distress and an emergency C-section is needed, or until she reaches 34 weeks—about 10 weeks from now.
Lucy has not been approved for any government assistance, and the medical bills are mounting quickly. We are asking for help to cover the cost of her hospital stay, medical care, and anything she and Baby Isla might need during and after this difficult time.
