Hi Waldo County friends. I’m Laura from The Belfast Lions Club and I’m coordinating some help for a local family that is in need of some extra help. The dad just recently got his leg amputated which brings its own new challenges of course.

As a lot of people saw in the Facebook post I made about asking for help, the landlords boyfriend admitted they will not be helping with any repairs to the trailer. As of now (Wednesday 28th) the water lines are still frozen- which are currently scheduled to be fixed on Sunday.

I’m working with the family and are actively applying for new housing and assistance. If by some chance anyone has any leads on a location, please let me know you can send me a message on Facebook.
