Support for Lisa After the Loss of Detective Neal Thompson

On 26th August, our community was shattered by the tragic loss of Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson in the line of duty at Porepunkah. Neal was not only a dedicated Police officer, but also a loving partner, family member, and friend to many. His sudden passing has left a heartbreaking void in the lives of those who knew him, especially his partner, Lisa and her children.

Lisa and Neal had only recently taken the exciting step of purchasing their new home – a place they dreamed of making their own together. Now, faced with unimaginable grief, Lisa is also confronted with the practical challenges of managing their property and daily needs on her own. She will need support with essentials such as purchasing firewood, repairing fences, and covering other day-to-day expenses as she begins to rebuild her life without Neal.
