Linda Austin, took a horrible unexpected fall November 8th. And then sadly it has just been one thing after another. She had to have 5 staples in her head, and had a broken femur(which she had to have surgery on). In the process she had to have another surgery to help her use the bathroom., because she was in kidney failure. She also has had a uti which then put infection into her bloodstream. So which only further shut the kidneys down. And now there is no function of the kidneys. She has been in icu since three days after her arrival to the hospital. And is now just in comfort care. Which means there is nothing further they can do besides keep her comfortable during the process of the end of life. If anyone could help that would be great. There will be so many expenses coming up that we as a family could use the help taking care of! Thank you all so much! God bless! She drove a school bus for the Newport News school system for like 30 years. And was well known in the community:):) she is such an amazing woman.
