Dear friends and family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Linda Marie Benavidez on December 9, 2024. Linda was a remarkable woman—full of love, resilience, and an adventurous spirit that touched everyone she met. She dedicated her life to her family, her passions, and her values, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and boundless love.
Linda’s daughter, Leanne Marie, was her full-time caregiver during her final years. Leanne, along with her two sons, Vicente and Leo, provided Linda with unwavering love and support, ensuring her final days were filled with laughter, warmth, and cherished memories. As we approach the holiday season, this family is navigating a difficult and emotional transition.
Leanne poured her heart into caring for her mother, putting her career on hold to be there for Linda every step of the way. Now, as she grieves this profound loss, she faces the challenge of rebuilding her life while continuing to provide for her sons. We’re asking for your support to help Leanne and her boys during this time of healing.
Your contributions will allow Leanne to focus on her emotional recovery and care for her children without the immediate financial burden of rushing back into the workforce. The funds will assist with:
-Day-to-day living expenses for Leanne and her sons
-Support through the holiday season, ensuring Vicente and Leo feel the joy and love their grandmother would have wanted
-Providing Leanne the time and space to process her grief and prepare to re-enter the workforce when she’s ready
Linda was a beacon of love and strength, and we know she would want her family to be surrounded by the same support and compassion she so freely gave to others.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference for Leanne and her sons. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help.
Let’s come together to honor Linda’s legacy by showing kindness and generosity to the family she adored. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
