On September 24th, our hearts were shattered when we lost Koali Denning Ring, just 21 years old, in a tragic accident in Haleʻiwa.
Koali was so much more than his years. He was a funny, kind, and loving young man who filled every room with laughter and warmth. To his family and friends, Koali was the kind of person who could turn the hardest day around with a smile or a joke. To his girlfriend and their precious 2-year-old daughter, he was their world, a devoted partner and a proud father who worked hard every day to provide for them and dream of a better future together.
Koali’s life was cut far too short, and his little girl Kealohi will now grow up with only memories and stories of the incredible father who adored her. His girlfriend Kaylie, left without her partner and the father of their child, faces the heartbreaking reality of raising their daughter without the love and support they once shared as a family.
