Kerri lost her home and most of her belongings in a recent apartment fire caused by a neighboring apartment. This included her clothes, furniture, family keepsakes, and more. She was luckily able to save herself and also woke up two neighbors to save them from the fire as well. She was able to save some important documents and family items, but almost everything else was burnt or lost to smoke damage.
While she is temporarily staying with her brother and sister-in-law in Murrells Inlet, she will need to rebuild her life and home.
While the family is doing everything they can to start to navigate this new reality, we would love to rally support for her in this unimaginable time from those that love her.
Donations will help with purchasing all new clothes, shoes, winter coats and gear, personal essentials, food, and any furniture for when she is able to secure a new home.
If it is easier to send e-gift cards to a store (e.g., Walmart, Marshall’s, Kohl's), restaurant for takeout/food in the Myrtle Beach area, or UberEats/DoorDash, please message us and we can send you her email so it goes directly to her. These will be so helpful in making it easy to get meals and essentials in these early days.
If you have any questions or other ways you’d like to help or show support, please reach out to us directly.
It will be a long road to regaining comfort and stability, but we thank you for anything you do to support her in this time.
Love,
Brandon (son), Alexa (daughter-in-law), and the whole family
