Kaylen Haase is a devoted mother of three, and right now her family is facing an incredibly tough time. Her youngest, Jaxon, is just three months old and has been through more than any baby should. A couple of weeks ago, Jaxon spent five days in Columbia Children's Hospital because he wasn't eating and was very sick. After a brief time at home, he was admitted again—this time to Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO, on January 16th. Jaxon now has an NG tube to help him eat and has tested positive for COVID. The doctors are still working to find answers, and there’s no clear timeline for when he’ll be able to come home.
Kaylen has not left Jaxon’s side since he was admitted. She is a loving and dedicated mom, but she is about to run out of sick leave and will soon be without pay. On top of that, her two older children need care and support. Their babysitter has been wonderful, helping with overnight stays and before- and after-school care, but the daycare bills are adding up quickly. I am helping with the kids this weekend, but the financial strain is growing every day.
If you are able to help Kaylen while she is struggling to make sure Jaxon gets better, it would be deeply appreciated. Your support will help cover lost income and childcare costs, allowing Kaylen to focus on her children and Jaxon’s recovery. Thank you for considering a gift to this family in need.
