Support for Katie’s Family During Pregnancy Crisis
Donation protected
Katie and Zach have always been the first to lend a hand to others, but now they are facing a challenge that has turned their world upside down. Katie, a devoted mother of three—Gunnar (9), Dawsyn (4), and Carsyn (19 months)—is expecting her fourth child in September. Complications from her pregnancy have made it impossible for her to work, and she has been hospitalized multiple times. In May, Katie needed a nephrology tube inserted into her kidney to prevent infection, and she recently underwent an emergency appendectomy. Doctors have now ordered her to remain bedridden and away from work until at least six weeks after the baby arrives.
Katie’s absence from her job as a client engagement specialist at a law firm means the family has lost a vital source of income. Zach, her husband, is working hard to become a commercial pilot and is also helping others earn their pilot’s licenses, but the family’s bills continue to mount. Friends have stepped in to help with the children, but the costs of rent, groceries, car payments, and daily essentials are overwhelming without Katie’s income.
Katie and Zach are deeply grateful for the prayers and support they’ve already received from friends and family. They have always valued community and now, more than ever, they need help to get through this difficult time. Any contribution will go directly toward keeping a roof over their heads, feeding their children, and covering essential bills until Katie can return to work. If you’re unable to give, the family asks for your prayers, believing in the power of community and faith to see them through.
