Hello friends, Kat and her husband Britt are close family friends. Together, they have four wonderful children and are expecting a new baby boy in just a few weeks. Life has been busy for their family, with appointments for the kiddos and the joyful chaos that comes with a growing household. Recently, they made a move into a new home to make space for their newest arrival, hoping to build a bright future for their babies.

On March 20th, everything changed when Britt suffered from a serious work accident—he fell off a roof and broke his heel bone in half. Now, he faces several months out of work, just as Kat prepares to welcome their baby. With both parents unable to work and limited family around, the next few months will be especially challenging. The stress of medical bills, living expenses, and caring for their children is overwhelming, and they are doing their best to stay strong for each other.

Kat and Britt are some of the most humble people I know, and their children mean so much to me and my family. We can be there emotionally, but it’s hard to feel good when the biggest problem is financial.
