Support for Juan Manuel & Liliana: A Hero and a Warrior
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Manuela Torres.
My family has recently been struck by unimaginable heartbreak. In just one month, we lost two beloved family members - My aunt Liliana and my cousin Juan Manuel.
Liliana was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s at only 35 years old. She fought bravely for years before passing in February at the age of 40. Her strength, warmth, and spirit will always be remembered.
Then, just weeks later in May, our world was shattered again. My cousin Juan Manuel, only 20 years old, was killed while trying to do the right thing. A kind-hearted, faith-driven young man, he chased down a thief and was fatally shot. His life was full of promise and his loss has left us devastated.
Our family is in pieces. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming. My mother and I live in the U.S., doing our best to support our loved ones back home. As two immigrant women, our resources are limited, but our love and will to help are endless.
We are asking for your help - any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward funeral costs, support for the grieving family, and helping us begin to heal from this unimaginable pain.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion, your prayers, and your generosity.
With gratitude,
Manuela Torres
