Jordan has been an integral member of the Greenbelt team; and we know him as a great father, husband, and friend. Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with him, being taught by him, or just being around him knows the positive and inspiring impact he has on all those around him.

We have created this fundraiser to support Jordan and his family while they navigate the road ahead. Please read below a message from Jordan:

Dear friends and families of Greenbelt;

I am writing to let you know that I will be taking a leave over the next 4-5 months for treatment after being recently diagnosed with lymphoma (DLBCL).

This has been shocking news for my family and I to process, but we are hopeful and focused on healing. We are so grateful to be surrounded by such a loving and supportive community and that makes this journey all the more manageable.

For those wondering how to speak to their children about this: we have explained to our three year old daughter (Briar) that I have a sickness that you can’t see. It takes a long time for the medicine to work, it will make my hair fall out, and I will feel tired a lot of the time…but I’m still me and I will get better!
