Support for John Warren Blitch's Children

On January 18, 2025, John Warren Blitch was in a fatal accident, leaving behind his four children: Allen (20), Summer (18), Rose (10), and Lilly (8).

Another step in our efforts to navigate life without Lil John is to help Ashley and the children bridge the financial hardship they bear. The sudden loss of my brother has left already trying times even more difficult in addressing basic needs, such as transportation, utilities, and, in fact, shelter.

Allen is employed and residing in the home that was being rented by his father. He hopes to work out a new rental agreement to stay in that home with his grandmother. Summer had recently moved to Atlanta with her fiancé, who is still looking for work. Rose and Lilly are still in the care of their mother, Ashley. Neither Ashley, Allen, nor Summer currently have their own transportation and are making efforts to resolve that issue as quickly as possible.

A great chunk of Lil John's life insurance is going to settle a payday advance loan he had taken out to hire a lawyer to assist Ashley in keeping the home she shares with the minor children. The insurance will also cover his end-of-life expenses. The rest will certainly not cover the continued needs of the minor children, especially if Ashley is unable to keep their lifelong home.

Lil John had a great love for and from his community. I'm hopeful that love can translate into monetary contributions for assisting to support the minor children for times to come.
