Support for Jessica and Her Girls After Fire

Hi, my name is Melissa. I am wanting to create a GoFundMe account to raise money for my sister-in-law and niece.

On February 20th, my sister-in-law Jessica Kirby was at work and her daughter Bella Kirby was with me at the time when the most tragic thing happened. Her house was engulfed in fire, caused by an electrical issue while everyone was at work. Bella and I were at our house, which is across the pond, so Bella watched her house burn down as the firefighters did everything they could to put the fire out. They definitely did everything they could, but her house burned down to the ground. Most of everything burned down. They had their two precious puppies inside. We were able to save them, but other than that, everything they owned, pretty much their whole life, was in flames.

What once was a beautiful home and family, and somewhere secure where they had everything they needed and were comfortable, is now gone. Jessica Kirby is a single mom raising two beautiful girls, one 15 and one 18. She is the best mom any kid could ask for! She strives every day for them and works so hard to make sure they have a good life. She is in tears and heartbroken over losing everything she has worked so hard for! We are just so very thankful that nobody was inside when this happened and so very thankful we were able to save their fur puppies. Usually, we are not the ones to reach out and ask for anything, but we are asking for anything that could be helpful for them. Blankets, covers, clothes, furniture, beds, or any donations at this time. For clothes sizes, anybody that has questions, my name is Melissa Powell. They have nothing but their fur babies and her car to her name! We also ask everyone to send out many prayers for her at this time as they try to start a new life and move forward.
