Hi friends and family,

As many of you know, Jessi is currently 25 weeks pregnant, and over the weekend her water broke. Baby Adelita is clearly eager to meet her parents and may be making an early arrival. Both Jessi and Adelita are stable, and the doctors are doing everything possible to keep Adelita safe and growing for as long as possible. Because of this, Jessi will be staying in the hospital for the remainder of her pregnancy as she and Gerald prepare to welcome their sweet baby girl.

The family now faces frequent travel between Wilkesboro and Winston-Salem, extra food expenses for Gerald during the hospital stay, and the loss of income as Gerald takes time off work to focus on Jessi and Adelita’s health. These costs add up quickly, and your support can make a real difference in helping them through this difficult time. Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated so they can stay focused on Jessi’s health and preparing for Adelita’s arrival. Como muchos de ustedes saben, Jessi tiene 25 semanas de embarazo y durante el fin de semana, se rompió su fuente. Adelita está ansiosa por conocer a sus padres y es posible que llegue un poco temprano. Tanto Jessi como Adelita se encuentran estables, y los médicos están haciendo todo lo posible para mantener a Adelita a salvo y que siga creciendo. Por este motivo, Jessi permanecerá en el hospital durante el resto de su embarazo, mientras ella y Gerardo se preparan para dar la bienvenida a su preciosa niña.

Gerardo estará viajando entre Wilkesboro y Winston-Salem, y tendrán gastos adicionales de comida para Gerardo durante la hospitalización y la pérdida de ingresos, ya que se perderán días del trabajo para dedicarse al cuidado de Jessi y Adelita.
