Many of you have asked how you can help — and one of the most meaningful ways to honor Jerry is by supporting his family: Kristen, Maggie, and Julia. Over the past five months, Jerry endured a courageous battle with cancer that brought immense emotional and physical challenges, as well as a heavy financial burden. The cost of his extended hospital stays, treatments, home care, and specialized nutrition has left the family with significant medical debt. Your support will help relieve some of this strain, allowing Kristen and the girls to focus on healing and remembering Jerry with the love and peace he deserves.
Jerry was a bright light to everyone who knew him — full of humor, joy, energy, and love. His infectious smile, quick jokes, and boundless enthusiasm lifted the spirits of everyone around him. He was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, whether cheering at a baseball game, casting a line while fishing, enjoying family beach trips, or spending time with his dogs.
Jerry lived life the way you’re supposed to. He squeezed every ounce out of every minute of every day. He was always on the move, but always stationary in people’s lives. He never failed to bring a smile to your face when he called or texted — even on days when you didn't feel like smiling. He loved hard and made everyone around him feel like they’d known him forever. He was truly special. He was one of a kind, a great, generous, and thoughtful man. Even in the hardest moments, Jerry brought lightness and warmth into the room, and his happy, loving presence is already missed beyond words.
We invite you to support Kristen, Maggie, and Julia as they navigate this difficult time. Every contribution — no matter the amount — will help cover medical bills, support the family & girls’ future, or a charity of Kristen's choice.
If you have a favorite memory of Jerry, please consider sharing it here to help celebrate his life and the joy he brought to so many.
