My husband Jeremy is the heart of our family. He’s always worked hard to provide for us, selling insurance by day and taking on a second job to help us get back on our feet. Recently, Jeremy suffered a serious knee injury—tearing his ACL and meniscus—which required surgery. Now he’s out of work for at least six weeks from his main job, and even longer from his second job. Watching him struggle to heal has been tough on all of us, especially our three kids, Camden (7), Violet (2), and Georgia, who’s about to turn one. They miss being able to run around and play with their dad, and it’s hard for them to see him in pain.
We’ve been facing financial challenges for a while, and Jeremy’s injury has made things even harder. Right now, we’re most worried about keeping up with our mortgage, groceries, and utilities. We’re doing everything we can to avoid falling further behind or risking eviction. My mom and sister have been a saving grace, helping us as much as they can, but I don’t want to ask them for more—they’ve already done so much. I even tried to get a grant from my job, but didn’t qualify. That’s why I’m reaching out for help from our community.
Any support will go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads and making sure our kids have what they need while Jeremy recovers. We’re grateful for any help, and we hope to pay it forward when we’re back on our feet. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation to help our family through this difficult time.
