In his 22 years at Rice University, Jeremy Reichert became a familiar and friendly face to nearly everyone on campus—his warm smile and unmistakable accent were as much a part of Mudd as the building itself. Jeremy poured his heart and skill into building and shaping our campus wireless network, taking immense pride in the connections he created. Each time he committed to a project, he was all in—devoting his full energy, expertise, and support to ensure the very best outcome for the university and for his team. His legacy is woven into the daily life of Rice, and his impact will be felt for years to come.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jeremy was a devoted husband to Jennifer and father to three wonderful sons: Hunter (17), Hayden (10), and Easton (6). He was a proud and involved "baseball dad," never missing a game and always cheering his boys on. Jeremy’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he cared deeply for his coworkers and friends. His sudden passing has left a tremendous void in the lives of those who knew him.
