After 35 long and painful days in the hospital, Jeannie was finally discharged today! These past weeks have been unimaginably hard on her body. She has endured relentless pain, low oxygen levels, repeated lung and stomach drains, blood clots, surgical incision procedures, and countless sleepless days and nights. Her strength through all of this has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Tonight, after so much suffering, she gets something she has desperately missed — time at home with her children, wrapped in the comfort, love, and presence of her family.

Early tomorrow morning, Jeannie will begin the next critical step in this fight. An ambulance will transport her to a private medical plane, where a team of healthcare professionals will accompany her to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Her appointment with a Cancer of Unknown Primary specialist is scheduled for 1 p.m. She may arrive a little late, but we are hoping that the doctor and medical team will still be able to see her. Right now, every minute matters. Every moment feels precious.
