Support for Jaquez's Funeral Expenses

To Family and Friends:

 

Jaquez DeShawn Sweeney was 22 years young and the victim of a violent crime. His unexpected death is a tragedy to our family and community.

 

Jaquez attended Archie Williams High School (formerly Sir Francis Drake High School) from 2014-2017 There he excelled in basketball and was heralded as One of the Best Point Guards in the Bay!

 

He was a loving and caring young father, and leaves behind a 6 year old daughter.

 

With all the pain, devastation and emotion a death can bring, it also brings a huge unexpected financial burden. We find ourselves struggling to cover the costs to ensure that Jaquez is laid to rest peacefully. The family is asking for help with funeral expenses. We have created this fundraiser as a platform for anyone who is able to contribute. Any, even the smallest donation, makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. We need to pay all the costs associated with the funeral by October 20, 2021.

 

It's a time such as this that we need to come together and stay strong. Our family is forever changed. We love Jaquez and will always miss him.
