My name is Alaena and I have the privilege of being Sarah Jane's big sister. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read just a little bit about her. As all of you know,

Sarah was our Sunshine Girl. She truly lit up the room when she walked in. She lived her life with this spark that was seen when she pursued any of her passions. Unfortunately, Sarah (32) endured a lot of physical turmoil in this past season of her life and her body just couldn't take it anymore. It is with the heaviest heart that I announce her passing on December 16th, 2024. She passed peacefully and is now resting in true freedom with Jesus.

While Sarah's time on earth was filled with an unimaginable amount of heartbreak, she also had one of the greatest gifts anyone could ask for - her sweet daughter Ivie June (8 years old). As you can imagine, Ivie is about to enter into the hardest season of her life without her mom. Thankfully, Ivie is surrounded by the love of her remaining family. As Sarah's sister, my heart is for my niece and preparing for her future.
