Hi, my name is Alyssa.

I am a mother currently navigating a prolonged and complex family court process while working to regain financial and housing stability. As a result of these ongoing proceedings and related disruptions, I am temporarily unable to support myself independently.

During this time, I have been relying entirely on my parents for housing, food, legal fees and basic necessities. While I am deeply grateful for their support, this situation has placed a significant strain on them, and I am actively working toward becoming self-sufficient again as quickly and responsibly as possible.

I am taking steps to reestablish stability, secure more permanent housing, meet my legal obligations, and maintain required communication with my children. This fundraiser is intended to provide temporary assistance so I can cover essential living and professional expenses during this transitional period.

How Funds Will Be Used

Funds raised will be used strictly for basic living and logistical expenses, including:

• Temporary housing and related costs

• Legal and administrative fees

• Food and essential daily expenses

• Transportation (gas and travel to job interviews and appointments)

• Communication costs, including phone calls with my children (which are billed hourly)

• Maintaining a phone and service to handle court, employment, and family matters

These funds are intended to reduce my reliance on my parents and allow me to work toward financial independence and stability.

Looking Ahead

If contributions exceed my immediate needs, any remaining funds will be set aside responsibly to explore future support initiatives for individuals navigating difficult transitions who lack resources or guidance. I have an amazing village around me and I couldn’t imagine if I didn’t. I hope to be able to help others in similar situations in the future. This would only be considered after my own situation is stabilized.
