we have been going through very hard times,

and in desperate need of housing, food, and clothing.

Me and my father have been out in California for about a year now, and everything was going smooth until 2 months ago. My father fell ill and had to give up trucking over the road until his health is restored. being a trucker over the road didn’t make much income. We was living check to check and that money didn’t. Last long We are seeking housing so we can have some stability; we can't afford it at the moment. due to our financial situation We have applied for SSI, (social security benefits) EBT, and cash assistance, we have been approved for SSI benefits and will be able to maintain monthly rent. It’s just not enough to move into a place as some housing requirements are a security deposit and first and last months rent. When we do get housing we will be able to afford rent from our ssi benefits . We would be very blessed to use any zakat to establish permanent housing for us and my father’s service animals.

my fathers health won’t improve with the current situation living in a vehicle it’s important we find housing as soon as possible

As we face these hardships, we're sincerely thankful for your support and generosity during our challenging times. Let's continue to come together as a community and make a collective effort to reach our goals. The sooner we achieve our goal, the better. As we will be able to establish housing as soon as possible, we're currently living out of a vehicle, which is unhealthy for our wellbeing. My father's health is deteriorating due to our living situation, and it's heartbreaking for me to witness. He's no longer able to work as an over-the-road truck driver and is awaiting disability benefits, which he's been approved for. I've also been approved for SSI benefits, and once we acquire housing, we'll be able to afford rent. However, we're struggling to equip our future apartment with furniture and essentials. Any donations, big or small, are a blessing, and we appreciate your kindness and support. Follow our journey with us on a daily basis as we keep updating everyone on our post.
