Support for Homeless Veteran in Crisis

Donation protected
I am a homeless army veteran living in Portland, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. In 1996, I experienced military sexual trauma (MST) during my military service, which led to my discharge. Although the official reason was a hearing issue, the real reason was the trauma I endured. I suffer from MST and PTSD, and I have kept this pain to myself for many years, but it has taken a serious toll on my mental health and quality of life.

To make matters worse, my own family took my inheritance and birthright, leaving me without a support system or a place to call home. I am struggling to meet my basic needs and am at a point where I do not feel safe. I am invoking the COMPACT Act for emergency care and am seeking help to connect with a patient advocate so I can be admitted to the hospital safely.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward securing shelter, food, and the resources I need to work toward financial independence. Your support will also help me access emergency care and mental health services that are critical for my recovery. Any help you can offer means the world to me as I try to rebuild my life and find hope for the future.
