Support for Hillary and Levi

On October 16 th our dear, kind, wonderful Jesse Snyder, passed away. He left
suddenly suffering a massive heart attack at the very young age of 46. Jesse was
newly wed to Hillary Parker.
If you know Hillary you likely know how incredibly resilient, loving and
hardworking she is. Prior to she and Jesse finding one another, Hillary and Levi
had been on their own since the passing of Levi’s father in 2005. Resources were
very limited, and Hillary committed herself to doing whatever she possibly could
to ensure that Levi had every opportunity. Hillary channeled her grief into
creating a life for Levi in which he could thrive. Keeping them moving forward
meant that Hillary was working three or four jobs, usually seven days a week for
the better part of a decade.
Four years ago their mutual friend, Erin, introduced Hillary and Jesse because,
“They were the two kindest people I knew.” From the moment the two met they
were inseparable. Jesse would doodle the letter “H” creating tiny masterpieces
for his love during meetings. Hillary with her eclectic style and incredible capacity
to care, about EVERYONE would often talk about how incredibly fortunate she
was to have met her perfect mate.
The couple snuck away from work on December 6 th 2017 and wed in an intimate
ceremony that reflected all that mattered most to them; their families, each other
and love. The newlyweds had recently purchased their first home and set about
building a life in North Providence with her son, Levi and his two girls, Ruby and
Violet. Hillary and Jesse and their beautiful family had caught their breath, had
broken their stride and were headed toward a lifetime of making memories and
filling their new home with plenty of love, laughter and Jesse’s collections.
Jesse’s life was cut tragically short. Hillary is again grappling with an unimaginable
loss.
We have come together as her friends, her tribe to do what we can to
support her as she works to find her path forward. While nothing can ever replace
what Hillary has lost our goal is to provide a financial cushion to allow her to take
the time and space she needs to start putting the pieces back together.
