Support for Heidi, Brandon, and Kiera After Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Hey All,
My name is Shana. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 8th, my dear cousins lost their Altadena home of 27 years in the Eaton Canyon Fire.
Brandon, Heidi and Kiera have deep roots in Altadena. Heidi was born and raised on the same street for 56 years. Heidi’s childhood home sat across the street which also burned down. It’s the only home my “little” cousin, Kiera, has ever known. Now, their neighborhood is decimated...along with decades of memories.
Like so many others, their ties to this community are strong. They have learned, loved and thrived here.
It's hard to imagine that just two weeks ago, we were all gathered around the dining room table—eating gumbo, laughing and celebrating the new year. And although we are grateful for their lives, this is a devastating loss.
Given the uncertainty of financial relief and the incurring expenses, having additional support would be very helpful during this challenging time.
We are humbly asking to raise additional funds to meet their short term needs. So, whatever you can do to help them with unexpected expenses that may not be fully covered through other sources, it is appreciated.
Great or small. No contribution is too little. Thank you. #LAStrong
With gratitude,
Shana
