Support for Health and Wellbeing of a family of 6

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Shalom from Calgary! We are the Nissan family, a devoted Israeli family that has come to Calgary to serve and support the Jewish community. We serve as teachers/Rebbe at the local Jewish school and proudly hold positions as directors of NCSY Calgary. Our mission is to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the Jewish community in this beautiful city.

In the midst of our commitment to the community, we find ourselves facing unexpected challenges that require your help. Our family includes three wonderful children aged 5, 4, and 2, and we are expecting our fourth child in a month and a half, G.d willing. Unfortunately, we are currently facing several urgent health-related issues that we are struggling to afford.

Our 5-year-old son requires immediate dental care, which comes with a cost of 4000CAD. Additionally, as we anticipate the arrival of our newest family member, we are seeking financial assistance (2000CAD) to bring a Mohel for the brit mila (circumcision) and cover related expenses, since there is no one in Calgary who can do this.

As Israeli citizens on a work permit visa on Canada. To ensure the well-being of our children and comply with legal requirements, we need to travel to Toronto to register our newborn and renew passports for three of our kids at the Israeli Consulate. All this can not be done on Calgary since there is no Israeli consulate.

This process is estimated to cost around 2000CAD.(Flight tickets, passports, legal documents)

Recently, Mrs. Nissan experienced a medical emergency that required an ambulance, resulting in a medical bill of 385CAD. Moreover, our 5-year-old son has been diagnosed with amblyopia and needs new glasses, costing approximately 500CAD. Unfortunately, our insurance for eye care has reached its maximum coverage, leaving us responsible for the entire amount. Additionally, our son requires a long-lasting optometrist exercise of two years, totaling 500CAD for every 6 months.

Due to some unexpected health challenges, Mrs. Nissan is currently on sick leave until the beginning of maternity leave, leading to a decrease in our family's income. We find ourselves in a difficult situation where we are unable to afford these urgent medical expenses.

We are reaching out to our community with a humble request for your generosity. Your support will make a significant difference in ensuring the health and well-being of our children during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to providing the care our family needs.
