With heavy hearts, we share the news of the sudden and tragic passing away of Hammad Shaikh on December 30, 2022. Hammad was 42 years old and is survived by his wife and two young sons aged 8 and 3.

Hammad was a devoted father and husband, a beloved son and brother, and a caring cousin, friend, colleague, and community member. He brought light to all who crossed his path, and never passed up an opportunity to help someone in need. Our family’s great comfort in the wake of his passing has been the myriad accounts of Hammad’s generosity and capacity to create joy. He loved deeply, and we know that this love is enough to last us many lifetimes.

Hammad worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Now, his wife must shoulder the responsibilities of working, caring for the children, and planning for their long-term educational needs and financial stability. We are circulating this request to honor Hammad by supporting his children. All funds will go towards immediate childcare expenses and future education costs. Any amount, big or small, will help lighten this load.

In loving memory of Hammad, let’s come together for this young, grieving family to set an example of kindness, generosity and care.
