This fund is being set up for my daughter. Her husband died unexpectedly about 2 months after losing his job. They were raising her 2 grandchildren, 15 and 16 years old. They’ve had legal custody of the girls since they were 2 and 3. She is a stay-at-home grandma. There is no life insurance and no money for rent, utilities, or anything else and August rent is now due. Because she is prone to having seizures, she has a service dog which will limit options for employment.

She has the ability to stand on her own two feet, she just needs help to get through this most difficult time. I have helped as much as I can but I’m on a fixed income. As a result we are reaching outside the family to ask for help.
