Support for Glenn Prescott’s Care

Our dear friend and colleague Glenn Prescott (Rigger) has been fighting an unimaginable battle for the past eight years. Throughout this time, Glenn has endured life-threatening illnesses including brain tumours, leukaemia, kidney infections, liver complications, and has required multiple blood transfusions and anti-seizure medication. His strength and courage through all of this have been nothing short of remarkable.

Recently, after long and difficult consideration, Glenn’s wife Tina made the brave decision to bring him home from hospital so he can spend this time surrounded by the love, comfort, and warmth of his family.

However, after assessment by the NHS, it has been confirmed that Glenn will soon need constant, round-the-clock care — and sadly, this will not be funded. To give Glenn the support he needs and deserves, a private care package must be put in place at a cost of around £8,000 per month.

This is an overwhelming financial burden for any family.
